I’m out of town on tour with Dr. Eggs for the first half of July this year so as a result there will be no HKXO this month. Nor will I be updating this here Tumblr with any news while I’m away. Instead, I’ve queued a few of my favourite, more recent, independently produced Hong Kong music videos for y’all to enjoy.

Sweet mother of awesome! After last night’s shenanigans at Hidden Agenda, the internet has awoken, blurry eyed, to find the new Tigerbombers video shredding it’s way across its raging breaks.
Feast your eyes on these two and a half minutes of smoking, drinking, swaggering rock’n’roll, beautifully shot by director Daniel Ryan.
Then wait…because the album isn’t out yet.
First there was beer, music and cake. Now, thanks to all who contributed at 2011’s Cakestarter party at The Wanch, local surf-punk-rock-n-blues lovelies Tigerbombers are almost ready to release their debut album.
While the final odds and ends are pulled together, they have released this wee teaser for you all. Enjoy!
